Return Policy
Garment Returns:
Leotards, bloomers, crystals: Non-returnable and non-refundable, unless it’s a stocked item. Contact us for exchange possibilities.
Dresses, Skirts, Vests, Accessories: Custom garments, no returns allowed, all sales final. Returns accepted only for obvious flaws or errors. Contact us within ONE day of receipt to report flaws. Return approved items within four days. Customer covers shipping and insurance costs.
Quality Assurance:
Dresses are thoroughly checked before delivery. Contact us within one month for zipper replacement due to faulty zippers (customer pays shipping).
Fabric Considerations:
Delicate fabrics used; wear, especially at skirt corners, is common. Embroidery may pull over time. Inspect dress upon receipt and report concerns immediately.
Liability:
Dresses guaranteed in perfect condition upon delivery. Prime is not liable for wear or damage post-delivery. All liability ends upon the customer taking delivery.
Costume Care
Thank you for choosing Prime Dress Designs for your Irish dance costume needs. To ensure the longevity and vibrant appearance of your garments, please follow these care instructions:
Team Dresses with Paneled Skirts or Interfacing Panels:
Storage: Store the dress with the skirt flat. Do not hang it, as this may compromise the look of the dress, resulting in a floppy skirt. We recommend using our Prime Dress Bags for storage and travel.
Embroidery Care: Keep Velcro hooks away from embroidery to prevent pulling.
Undergarments: Wear a tight short sleeve shirt under the dress to catch perspiration. Consider using underarm shields, securely pinned in, or disposable shields with added safety pins.
Spot Cleaning: Dry-cleaning is not recommended for dresses with stiff skirts, as it may compromise the stiffener. Spot-clean with a cloth dampened in COLD water and Woolite for stain removal.
Full-Submersion Washing Option: Reserve this option for deep cleaning when spot cleaning is insufficient. Wash the dress in a bathtub with a few inches of COLD water and gentle detergent like Woolite. Lay flat in the tub, massage detergent into soiled areas, rinse, and drape over the tub to maintain shape. Blot wetness with towels and let the dress dry flat. Alternatively, wrap the dress in a single layer of sheets and drape over a clothesline.
Solo Dresses with Crystals:
Cleaning: Crystal-adorned dresses cannot be dry-cleaned. Spot-clean with a cloth dampened in COLD water and use a gentle detergent like Woolite for stain removal.
Dresses with Soft Circle Skirts (No Stiffener):
Undergarments: Wear a tight short sleeve shirt under the dress to catch perspiration. Use underarm shields, securely pinned in, or disposable shields with added safety pins.
Cleaning: Dresses with no stiffener can be dry-cleaned. Spot-clean with a damp cloth in COLD water and Woolite for stain removal.
Beginner Skirts:
Cleaning: Beginner skirts can be dry-cleaned. Spot-clean with a damp cloth in COLD water and Woolite for stain removal.
Vests:
Cleaning: Vests can be dry-cleaned. Spot-clean with a damp cloth in COLD water and Woolite for stain removal.
Leotards/Leotards with Embroidery:
Cleaning: Hand wash in COLD water with a gentle detergent. Note that black leotards may slightly darken lighter color embroidery.
